Work Package 4 (WP4) partners of the European-sponsored CHILL-ON project will meet in Israel for the TRACECHILL system integration workshop.
The workshop will be hosted by AFCON Software and Electronics Ltd. at AFCON"s headquarters in Petach Tikva, Israel.
AFCON Software and Electronics Ltd., as a major software developer, is actively leading WP4 and is deeply involved in the CHILL-ON project. Other technology development partners from UK, Italy, the Netherlands and Israel will participate in the workshop where the main objective is to integrate various SW and HW components into one TRACECHILL system and test-drive it. Mr. Matthias Kück, the coordinator of the CHILL-On project, will also attend the integration workshop.
The CHILL-ON project aims to improve the quality and safety, transparency and traceability of the chilled/frozen food supply chain. Project members are working to develop cost-effective technologies, devices and methods for continuous monitoring, recording, and management of the relevant data throughout the entire supply chain.
