AFCON Partners with Kepware for Device Communications
June 22nd, 2009, AFCON Software and Electronics Ltd., a leading provider of SCADA/HMI software, has announced a partnership with Kepware Technologies to resell Kepware OPC drivers that extend the range of devices supported by the company's SCADA - P-CIM SCADA/HMI.
The addition of Kepware drivers extends the application base for P-CIM SCADA/HMI, which has experienced rapid growth since its introduction in 1986. The PLC and manufacturing industries have been strong advocates for using OPC Servers for connectivity to HMI/SCADA so this integration and bundling of the Kepware Server with P-CIM SCADA/HMI now provides connectivity to almost any controller or field device available in the market today.
