AFCON announced the release of a new driver, The Afcon driver for Omron FINS Ethernet devices.
The new Omron Fins Ethernet Driver works with the FINS Ethernet devices over Ethernet. FINS is a proprietary protocol developed by Omron, used by a PLC program to transfer data to and from a remote PLC connected over an Ethernet network. The new driver includes support of the FINS TCP/IP protocol. Using the OMRON FINS Ethernet driver enables P-CIM SCADA/HMI to work with the Omron PLCs, SYSMAC CS/CJ Series.
The new driver can be downloaded from the Afcon website in the Drivers Section.
