Welcome to the June 2010 edition of AFCON's newsletter. This month you are invited to read about the Latin American Pulse Launch and about P-CIM's role at the Roggio Asphalt plant in Argentina. Impressions from Pulse Launch in Latin America
The recently launched SCADA/HMI from AFCON was introduced to Latin American customers at a "TOP" customer event that took place at the AADECA center, Buenos Aires, Argentina, on May 12. With dozens participants attending from across Argentina, and from several countries of the region, the high profile event was presented by AFCON marketing manager, Orly Inbar and AFCON Latin America's manager, Mr. Dario Zyngierman. The participants saw the Pulse demonstration and had the opportunity to see it running on a smart phone. Case study - Roggio Asphalt, Argentina
Roggio S.A. is a group of companies with extensive experience and a rich background in infrastructure and services. The group’s main activities are construction, transportation, and waste management, as well as sanitary service, entertainment and tourism, technology and IT, toll road and transit concessions, and real estate developments, with outstanding performance in all lines. The company has three asphalt machines, and uses P-CIM to retrieve information in real time. The asphalt plants are mobile, so they can be set up where needed around Argentina and the surrounding region. For more information, click here.
